ME Libraries

A ME Library membership gives you access to free Alberta-wide public library borrowing! When you sign up online, you'll be able to visit libraries across the province and borrow materials using your local library card!  Items are picked up in person at the lending library but may be returned to any ME library. ME Libraries only work with physical materials, so online resources and interlibrary loan services are not included. Who can sign up? Adults (18+) with a library card in good standing that have an email address attached to the account.

The Alberta Library

TAL Online is your one-stop shop for requesting interlibrary loans. These are materials that can't be found at your local library or within the TRAC system. When searching TAL Online, you can view materials from libraries across the province and request to have them shipped to your library.

With your library card, you can borrow materials from participating libraries, including academic, government, and special libraries! Loan periods and overdue fines may vary. Return the material to any participating library and it will be sent back to its own library at no charge.  Click here for a list of participating members.
